Reflection  (My feelings: What I will do differently next time) 1

 

Knowing the definition of journalism was the most beneficial experience for me. I now have a greater understanding of the history of journalism. After learning about the history of journalism, I learned that it had existed for a long time. This information is important to me in my work since I understand the history of journalism. I had previously forgotten the reality that being a journalist was not an easy job. Alternatively, this might be related to the knowledge I previously lacked. This is similar to when I was too lazy to study further since I believed It wasn't necessary for me to be aware of it. This, like history, indicates that there are a lot of outstanding individuals out there.

This information is very important to me because is all about news writing.. I had previously forgotten the reality that being a journalist was not an easy job. Alternatively, this might be related to the knowledge I previously lacked. This is similar to when I was too lazy to study further since I believed It wasn't necessary for me to be aware of it. This, like history, indicates that there are a lot of outstanding individuals out there.

I will study additional material to strengthen my grasp of journalism and expand my vocabulary, and I will continue to practice writing news so that I can grow used to writing so that my final project will be simpler for me to complete.

I've grown in my grasp of this subject, and I now understand how critical it is to pay attention to key details while writing a news piece, particularly in personality profiles and news features. Because if we don't pay attention to this, the news we publish will have an impact on its authenticity and accuracy based on the structures of each content. I gained a lot from this content and realized that there are still many flaws in producing good news that readers will want to read. By studying this material, I may remedy inadequacies that are still insufficient by paying attention to the materials' structures, procedures, and information list.

The most valuable experience for me was learning that employing 5W+1H in an interview might cause the interviewee to open up to us. Previously, I assumed we could just ask the interviewee not to use 5W+1H. However, if we use it, the interview will go more smoothly and we will be able to locate the solution more quickly.

I have found new point of view in this meeting. I have learned about news article structure, how to analyze it, but sometimes I still forgot how to focus about the main idea about the news article. Next time, I have to repeat and focus more about the past lesson I have learned.

It felt amazing to knew the technique how to wrote down and planning out a script for broadcasting. Nevertheless, to be a professional script writer and an anchor of broadcasting show I need to look up more things to discover about broadcasting.
